Thinking out loud

Just a bit of myself from the core

I've lived and I've loved, been lost and been left
I've known the worst and the best of the best.
I've been cared for and hurt, hunted and fed,
I've had my life saved and been left for dead.
I've traveled and wandered ,I've held down the fort,
I've taken things over , known spoils of war.
I've led and I've followed, I've made some mistakes,
I've known when it counted ,which rules to break.
I've lied and I've stolen, I've protected the weak,
I've been the voice ,when no others would speak.
I've listened and learned, I've thought and I've read,
I've poisoned my spirit ,my soul ,and my head.
I've preached and I've practiced , I've made my own way,
I've stumbled and fallen day after day.
I've cried and told secrets, I've been hard to find,
I've I've laughed at and ridiculed ,those being kind.
All of these things I've been through and done ,
Have made me the me that I have become.
That isn't all, the me that I am ,
Is still turning into the me that I can.
Every day, life, brings something new ,
To see or to hear or to learn or to do.
The good and the bad, the tough and the fun,
All of these things that we have all done.
Are just to teach us all how to be ,
Make us or break us, both set us free.
I cannot chose what someone will do,
I'm only accountable for how I treat you

Something new yet so fresh! I loved each rhyming phrases keeping in touch sweet and sour lessons of life. Your poem is multitude of emotions sailing with hpe of starting a fresh journey. Glad to read your poem.
