Walden Pond In April

as a well-rested, april sun did its best to burn through the morning's stubborn chill
i ventured out, seeking a new day's thrill
the pond reflecting indisputable, surrounding truth like a glassy mirror
heaven all the nearer
my life breathing clearer
praising the creator, despite my troubles in a sick, fallen world
come what may, come what will
remembering that he's the one who washes the stained glass and pays the bill
always kind enough to leave a generous tip on my soul's window sill

Wow! Very nice and beautiful. The ending too was marvelous. You are one with God and nature.
You have a grateful heart, a mighty pen.
