Criss Cross

The path of least resistance leads to crooked rivers and crooked men. - Thoreau

Bear Your Own Cross - Your Challenges ...

i carry my cross
other times it carries me
sometimes i'm trapped under it, crushed
sometimes it gives me a splinter
sometimes it's paper for my printer

sometimes i run with it like a mad sprinter
other times i drag it through a nuclear winter
most times i can't see the forest for the trees
turns out i'm nothing but a cross-eyed squinter
