Shock Without Awe

Things do not change; we change. - Thoreau

52nd Annual Snowman Burning welcomes ...

how can i write what's never been read
say what's never been said
give life to words that feel as though they're dead
put thoughts in your spinning, empty head
unravel you by pulling a single thread
get a rise from your unleavened bread

perhaps i should just come over
and knock some sense into your thick head
help you change your old, worn bedspread
make you run faster by getting out the lead
then you'll be able to pull your own sled
i could tell you that someone took your amazon package and fill you with dread
or then again, i could just do nothing instead
