What Jane Does And Says

A Poem by Pete
"

The light which puts out our eyes is darkness to us. Only that day dawns to which we are awake. There is more day to dawn. The sun is but a morning star. - Thoreau

Body Parts - monochrome Spiral Notebook ...

covered all over in elective tattoos
not willing to pay anyone's dues
knows how to turn people's screws
popping pills like they were pez
can't stand this new guy prez

never could handle her booze
never did learn how to walk in high heeled shoes
picking her nose but never voting to choose
a blood sniffing dog that can't seem to pick up on life's clues
all jane does and says

Pete
“So thoroughly and sincerely are we compelled to live, reverencing our life, and denying the possibility of change. This is the only way, we say; but there are as many ways as there can be drawn radii from one centre.” - Thoreau
