First, there is the power of the wind, constantly exerted over the globe... Here is an almost incalculable power at our disposal, yet how trifling the use we make of it. - Thoreau

... and it blew

huffing and puffing

ripping, swirling and stuffing

in a strange sort of even exchange

thank god for the wind

it sweeps up broken pieces of yesterday

and more importantly

it knows where to look for loose change
