Fabric of A Life

When you knock, ask to see God - none of the servants. - Thoreau

The Fabric of Life by ReneCampbellArt ...

we knew he was happy
and all was right with the world
as winds of time paused with a swirl

he was humming psalms
and strumming air
despite life not playing fair

he knew his god was still there
what's more, he knew that he'd heard his prayer
he no longer had much hair
nary a care
because truth is breathable
and easy to wear

Pete
"It is not when I am going to meet him, but when I am just turning away and leaving him alone, that I discover what God is. I say, God. I am not sure that that is the name. You will know what I mean." - Thoreau
