A Winter's Chilling Thrill

A Winter's Chilling Thrill

A Poem by Re-Pete
"

All nature is doing her best each moment to make us well - she exists for no other end. Do not resist her. With the least inclination to be well we should not be sick. - Thoreau

"
How to Prevent Ice Dams on Your Roof | Allstate

playful, giggling baby's breath
trace snow falls like dandruff from a nearly bald man's head
icicles hang from the edge of the roof
like upside down bottles of corona beer
sheer
crystal clear

whispering sweet everythings
wishing good cheer
to start a new year
as a warmer time waits impatiently in the wings
biding its time like a prisoner
drawing near
with a sly, melting jeer
