Cleaning Lady's Day Off

Cleaning Lady's Day Off

A Poem by Re-Pete

Sandblasting: How to do it like a pro ...

with your name seemingly etched in my heart forever
i awaken one day only to discover that it's been sandblasted away
soul turned to clay
as eternity's yellowed, tear-stained calendar hangs in expiration

i really need to dust more often
especially around my coffin
along with buying that stuff makes hard water soften

Well, it seem that cemeteries are not well taken care of.... then it's definitely the cleaning ladies day off...
I have visited many cemeteries inn the USA and most of them are pretty neat, nicely trimmed, but there are a few messy one's too... that's why I will be cremated!!!! Done! Clever write Pete!
Warmly, B

I can relate to these words.
Much dust has accumulated around my wooden box.
Well done!
