It is necessary not to be Christian to appreciate the beauty and significance of the life of Christ. - Thoreau

they came, men of three

Beautiful senryu . The birth of Christ. We don’t go to church often, but we do on Christmas Eve for the late night service. Sadly the whole of Christmas has become so commercialized, the true meaning is lost. Times have really changed. Wishing you a good one Pete to you and yours.

welcome. thanks for reading and merry christmas.
Your quotes by Thoreau truly compliment your work, Pete. I love Christmas. The magic and the wonder of it, the goodwill toward men, and the celebration of the birth of Christ. May the meaning of it live in the words of poets, in the hearts of us all! Merry Christmas, Pete!
