Flying Man Images

if only i could fly
i'd write poetry with white clouds in the sky
peek and find out what's on the other side before i die
cross my wings while telling a lie
laugh when i feel the need to sigh
poke a cyclopse in the eye

if only i could fly
i'd drop ketchup on every french fry
paint the sunset in tie-dye
steal yesterday's milk money and not bother to tell it why
hang out with god and moses on mount sinai
circling 'round and 'round watching eternity go by

if only i could fly
i wouldn't be wish-washy, i'd flat out deny
i'd take pigs on vacation to get them away from the sty
i'd soar over sin
sing songs with jimi and jim
wear a crown and tell my unloyal subjects to go away or come nigh
because big boys don't cry
