The Kiss

The Kiss

Rodin - The Kiss
Rodin's The Kiss

a renaissance
staining wine upon eager lips
i pull you close
where desire is planted
tight, warm, humid embrace
toes curled downward
tasting essence

innocence
sparkling, distilled expectations
wanting to learn
needing to know
wherever tender, chiseled flesh doth go
whatever a heart dares to show
whichever way polished spirits choose to flow

Author's Note

If he is your friend, you may have to consider that he loves you, but perchance he also loves gingerbread." - Thoreau
