Is this poem a Senryu, Pete? It feels like it, but it seems a mix of both Haiku (nature) and Senryu (anything not nature). The flowers are beautiful. I love our photograph showing their beauty. A heart rending plea for help! Lovely work, Pete. Thank you for sharing...

technically it is a senryu. the flowers are jack-in-the-pulpit but i changed it to david in tribute.. read moretechnically it is a senryu. the flowers are jack-in-the-pulpit but i changed it to david in tribute to the man performing in the music video as it is about god.

I am familiar with Jack in the Pulpit... I saw many on walks in the Mountains of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.. along with pink Lady Slippers ... a Sermon and a Dance... my first Romance among the Mountain Laurel... in 1954. quietly, Pat
