Good And Plenty In Goshen

Good And Plenty In Goshen

A Poem by Pete
"

The light which puts out our eyes is darkness to us. Only that day dawns to which we are awake. There is more day to dawn. The sun is but a morning star. - Thoreau

"
Where Was the Land of Goshen?

get a notion
spill some emotion
light a dripping candle of devotion
salute a higher promotion
music is poetry in motion

spread it like lotion
drink it in like a magic potion
stuff it in a bottle and toss it in the ocean
chug along with steel locomotion
stir up still waters and create some commotion

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." - Thoreau
