One In A Million, Billion, Trillion, Zillion Cotillion

One In A Million, Billion, Trillion, Zillion Cotillion

A Poem by Pete
"

In music are the centripetal and centrifugal forces. The universe needed only to hear a divine harmony that every star might fall into its proper place and assume a true sphericity. - Thoreau

"
Joy

laughing
dancing
chancing
oblivious to circumstancing
singing songs
spilling wine
where there is no concept of time
what's mine is your's and what's your's is mine

feasting on rays from the sun
marrying on the moon
kissed by the wealth of an unearthed doubloon
uncorked eternity isn't long enough
happiness is tougher than tough
in this mirthful month of june
where an up and down tide feeds like a spoon
and soon can never, ever be too soon

You have written a mantra for the trillions! What a recipe for life: from 'what's mine to ' ever be too soon' and the music says so. Grand write, Pete, and as your man says.. 'We are more of the earth, farther from these days' - but, somewhere, he knows where and when.

Maybe, one should try to reach - let's say, as far as the spirit will reach - over time.

life can be bumpy at times but if you hold on tight, most of it is pure joy....singing, dancing, drinking champagne; contemplating the cosmos....."marrying the moon"... keep the faith and life should be worth gazillions!!!

I learned to count to those massive numbers. You must be dreaming of wealth. Now, if you had one the lotto, please tell us honestly. We can laugh and dance with you.
