“Music is the sound of the universal laws promulgated. It is the only assured tone. There are in it such strains as far surpass anyman’s faith in the loftiness of his destiny. Things are to be learned which it will be worth the while to learn.” - Thoreau

Life is music but most are so afraid of the band that they dare not dance. I hope all my children and grandchildren learn to dance to the music of life. I don't want to be a rock star or a star of any sort. But I do play my guitar daily and I've written so many songs. I also know a great many lyrics by heart. I just like the ability to make others smile and want to sing along. Fame holds no appeal to me but the music, oh yes, very much the music!

On one of those was Doris Day singing Buttons and Bows. But my first taste of music and I was hooked. I love it all from hard rock to blues, soul, jazz, folk and old country.
I heard it said he is only alive when on stage. At other times he is just Ringo Star. Who apparently was not even the best drummer in the Beatles.

I always wanted to be a football player whilst my wife wishes only that I become an adult. Peter pan she jokingly calls me because inside this head perched atop my 62 year old body lives a 12 year old boy.
Nice work Pete

I'd just settle for the hair anymore. : )
I was a member of a band and it was some of the greatest fun I have ever had. Never made rock and roll star status but still had a blast. Nice one Pete.
