Where A Heart Goes, When And How It Shows

Where A Heart Goes, When And How It Shows

A Poem by Pete

Experience is in the fingers and head. The heart is inexperienced. - Thoreau

Wearing Your Heart on Your Sleeve ...

'tis hard to imagine, let alone conceive
they say that poets wear their hearts upon their sleeve
but i can't help but wonder
where does it go in summer when those sleeves are short
or when there's work to be done and they're rolled up
trust me, it's still there
no need to grieve
you need only look past fallen tears and believe
