Each And Every Day

Each And Every Day

A Poem by Pete

Old man and old woman walking down ...

each and every day
with your quotidian heart in my fumbling hands
i made love to you from afar
breathing your meridian sighs
running barefoot through silken skin and obsidian hair
it doesn't seem just or fair
i could never quite find the right words whenever you walked by
heaven wouldn't tell me what to say
each and every day

An unfinished need, one that still lives deep inside you.. and as written, stunningly beautiful although sad. Pete, you write with your heart.

Plus, you accompany your words with my favourite song. Many thanks for sharing so much, sir.

Oh to make love to someone within you mind because you couldn’t find the words to say to the person. This is a sentiment that many have known in their lives

This poem is shedding a sense of unrequited love and longing for someone who is out of reach.

I liked the way you expressed everything.,
The use of sensory imagery such as "breathing your meridian sighs" and "running barefoot through silken skin and obsidian hair" adds depth to the poem.
