Author's Note

Pete
"Away with the superficial and selfish philanthropy of men; who knows what admirable virtue of fishes may be below low-water-mark, bearing up against a hard destiny, not admired by that fellow-creature who alone can appreciate it! Who hears the fishes when they cry?" - Thoreau

Don't reach too high, there are those who care less about the universe as a whole and more about how much money they can earn, or their place in society....Carve out your own path for success, whatever that means to you..it is yours and only yours, otherwise you might fall into a trap ...of fate....
My interpretation (looked up word: polycistic and got nothing, then polytheistic which means worshiping multiple Gods?)
Warmly, B

Which is the road not taken? I like the song "Crossroads" by Don McClean. This reminded me of it. I enjoyed the read.
