i'm music

music is me

i need not eyes to see

only ears to hear

and feet to move

a soul to groove

nothing to prove

no one to disprove

sadness to remove

joy to improve

ever on the move

my life it does behoove

be rhythmic and swift

give yourself a gift

rock, roll, shake and shift

embark on a journey that's riffed

excuse me while a select another

dear father and mother

sisters and brothers

as i spin my druthers

along with a plethora of others

Music can transport us to another dimension allow us to feel an array of emotion and take us back in time.

It can say what we dare not utter and speak volumes on how we feel inside.

There are so many lines in this poem that I love. It’s light hearted and fun. Dance without habitations.

I think many of us poets love those things and have a deep appreciation for details as well as feeling emotions on a deeper level

absolutely agree.. I am highly emotional and a deep thinker going far below the surface.and am very detail oriented - a perfectionist much to most people's frustration. poetry comes from the soul.
