"[Thoreau] is as ugly as sin, long-nosed, queer-mouthed, and with uncouth and rustic, though courteous manners, corresponding very well with such an exterior. But his ugliness is of an honest and agreeable fashion, and becomes him much better than beauty." - Nathaniel Hawthorne

This actually says a lot about the state of our minds and our surroundings; we seem to be living at the edge sometimes, with no hope for any solutions to anything... threadbare is pretty thin, almost about to tear... is that what we want for ourselves? are we unraveling with our kindness, fortitude, like we have nothing to give, like love, understanding,? ideas? this is disturbing to me, but actually true...are we on the brink of war? i believe we may be and that does put us on the fray....short but says a lot Pete, I liked it!!
