Life Preserver

A Poem by Pete
"

If Nature is our mother, then God is our father. - Thoreau

"
12-4-CH Man in stormy ocean in life preserver -

i remember all the car rides back and forth in the back seat of the old, baby-blue ford
to church with screaming, colored windows and hard wooden pews along with up and down kneelers
little did i realize how important that good news and those fond memories would ever be
in rescuing the lost likes of me
