Time Theft: 7 Ways Employees Steal Time At Work | EPAY

everyday i wake up
the loose, spare days that i placed on top of the dresser last night are missing
along with the change from spent weeks and months lost between the sofa cushions
i get up to spend another crisp, new day
you innocently bump into me on the street as you stealthily reach into my pocket in a blur
pilfering a few wrinkled, folded years as you smile and say, "sorry, please excuse me sir"

until finally one day i meet you in a dark alley
you're standing in front of me, blocking my path with no way around
"excuse me", i say
"hand it over", you reply
"how much", i respond
"everything", you say, "all of it, the whole enchilada, not just a little while"
this time your hand is in your own pocket clutching cold, black steel, your face is covered and there's no smile

in the music one hears the ticking of time until the music grows....I believe you are alluding to time and how time is spent for each of us....wasting time is a negative, but using time to one's advantage and making time special to us is so important... and we should choose time wisely... and when one's time is up, well that's out destiny; very nicely crafted Pete...
