No Matter Where I Abide

No Matter Where I Abide

A Poem by Pete
"

If anything changes, I’ll just take it in stride. For now, I can still walk down the street and quite happily not get noticed. - Sam Claflin

"
Dense forest | Forest art, Forest drawing, Art background

alone in dense wilderness
careful of tangling bitterness
wide-eyed
chicken-fried
do or died
laugh
cry
ride
follow a guide
move it off to the side
always a bridesmaid, never a bride
handcuffed or hogtied
convicted before tried
careful of the snide one who lied
aversion to soul suicide
tears that never seem dried
taking it all in stride

no matter where i abide

Well, I know you are a poet and abiding in poetry.
I like the rhyme scheme and message.
You can be in the city, you can be in the country, it is what you want from life, where you wish to be and what do with your life.
Marvelously written.
