"To Whom It May Concern"

"To Whom It May Concern"

A Poem by Pete
"

The cost of a thing is the amount of what I will call life which is required to be exchanged for it, immediately or in the long run. - Thoreau

"
To Whom It May Concern | Oscar Lang

we begged yesterday
stole tomorrow
borrowed today
'cuz there didn't seem to be any other way

those who play with fire don't always get burned
a kiss stolen is a kiss earned
a heart broken should not be a lesson learned
unlike the library, love doesn't have to be returned
at least that's how the letter started out,

"to whom it may concern"

Author's Note

Pete
“Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. I drink at it; but while I drink I see the sandy bottom and detect how shallow it is. Its thin current slides away, but eternity remains. I would drink deeper; fish in the sky, whose bottom is pebbly with stars.” - Thoreau

As what they say, there is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat. So is falling out. Funny how ramdom love can be - like throwing stones in the air.

This is a perfect example of the saying "less is more." Short but well thought-out.

Very cool once again, The thought that went into this was amazing. Just had to stop by once again and let you know I was still around.
