See-Through

See-Through

A Poem by Pete
"

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see. - Thoreau

"
Sheer fabric with lace edging blowing in wind | Blowin' in the wind, Beautiful world, Wind

echoes of silence meandering past
nighttime crooning with an unsettled rasp
to hold is to grasp

white noise of piano keys reverberating loneliness
rain fell in a deluge of inevitability
neither yesterday nor tomorrow taking responsibility

remembrances of a bed being warm
raw desire taking on a new art form
togetherness its own reform

silk sheets to egyptian cotton
longing begotten
eternity far but not forgotten

walking over water
heaven's daughter
treading on hearts
translucence of time
clouds whisper as they depart
passion an onlooker when love was born
see-through negligee blown by the whirlwind of a departing storm

Very passionate and sweet-sounding. Sad to hear the conclusion. You had that collusion with love(not Russia). You played the music of loneliness. You wrote with forgotten vastness.

What a beautiful posted image to accompany your words Pete. A wonderful vision you have created and your final line is nothing short of brilliant.

Have a great week-end.
