Jesus healing the Blind Man,

Oil on canvas by Brian Jekel

lost in clamant darkness

as demons fled and angels abounded

facing backwards in the cleft of a rock

secure in hidden evidence of faith

you were found

glittering like gold

always known and forever told

walking passed in all of your pristine splendor

too great to see and live

loving enough to forgive

too eminent to even conceive

granting  both will and need to believe

Your words capture the painting perfectly Pete. Three short stanzas with subtle rhyme. What a beautiful moment when the blind man’s sight is restored by Jesus.

That was really nice my friend. You have a knack for expressing thoughts so poetically.
