Horn O' PlentyA Poem by Petecornucopia utopia myopia what morning sings what tomorrow promises compared to what today brings perhaps one or maybe a plethora of things a shiny penny a tarnished many bees may sting faithless mouths buzz as truth shaves adolescent peach fuzz emotions swell all's good even that which does not end well play your piano be sure to hit all the notes and keys both good and bad happy and sad show me all that it blindly sees pluck the wayward strings of chance's braille strings along with all that it gladly or reluctantly brings we don't truly know until we try don't really care until we cry the best questions always start with why remembering that you can't return what you didn't buy can't cross the finish line tape can't experience grace unless you lace up sneakers unless you run the race show me what's deep inside knock down your aquifer releasing stagnant tears shuddering unfounded fears before a desolate today turns into a horn of forelorn years © 2023 PeteFeatured Review
