Aluminum Dirigible

Aluminum Dirigible

A Poem by Pete
"

All from the Led Zeppelin album Physical Graffiti.

"
.Cast Bronze and Aluminum Dirigible Bank on Wheels

like a house fire at bron-yr-aur
covered from head to toe in physical graffiti
tip toeing in houses of the holy
feeling sick again as i'm trampled under foot
never a knife around to cut a custard pie let alone a nose to boogie with stu

driving the rover and wearing kashmir down by the seaside
breast of gold on a night flight
i try to stay in the light as i search for the wanton
waiting for the black country woman
only to find ten years gone by in my time of dying

.

Somehow I feel dazed and confused after reading this. Man, you just mention Zeppelin and I hear music in my head. At my previous job, we played classic rock in the office and we called Zeppelin "Church music" because it was a religious experience to listen to those guys play. Very cool my friend.

I enjoyed this tribute to Led Zeppelin. They really were a great band. Plant, Page, Bonham and Jones...does the lineup get any better? Good music to mark the milestones of yesterday's journey through the years. Cheers, F.
