No Reason To Cry

No Reason To Cry

Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. - Thoreau

Full Full Nets, a prayer based Jesus Calling the Disciples (Mark 1) | Revlisad.com

barely afloat
from the wrong side of the boat
i cast my net upon a lonely, unforgiving and harsh sea
worn mesh patched and dispatched
full of empty, abandoned holes and wanting, stretched faith
water where wine ought be

miraculously it is filled to overflowing
filled with seemingly nothing to the naked eye
intangible abundance within heart and soul
forever and again
a once blind fisher of men

calling out to others to come and help with a ponderous haul
feeding me for when to myself i die
erasing skeptical questions of how or why
assuring that the lured captain's catch of eternity has

no reason to cry
