Whirlwind

Whirlwind

A Poem by Re-Pete
"

Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of each. - Thoreau

"
God Was Not in the Whirlwind | Sojourners

living on borrowed time
'round and 'round
different force
different sound
here, there and everywhere

winter gusts yell
spring winds tell
summer zephyrs qwell
autumn breezes dwell
hurricanes swell
seasons and storms come and go

with oh so much more than a calendar could ever show

This poem moved along like whirlwind; brief and powerful. I shared a pic the other day of a tornado I had taken. Someone asked how did I get so close. I had no choice, that's how. It didn't touch down near me though. I just got a great photo of the funnel and rotation under the cumulonimbus. That green glow though...that always spooks me. I enjoyed the read.
