Free Will

Free Will

A Poem by Pete
"

For a man to act himself, he must be perfectly free; otherwise he is in danger of losing all sense of responsibility or of self respect. - Thoreau

"
Halfway River Hot Springs | Reconnect with your primal roots and experience a getaway at Halfway Hot Springs. Located almost literally

when she was near certain that no one was watching
she would strip naked as the day she was born for a dip in the warm springs
bathing in sinlessness
redemption
eden revisited
reveling in all that free will brings

amongst other divine, sacred things

Author's Note

Pete
“I know of no redeeming qualities in me but a sincere love for some things, and when I am reproved I have to fall back on to this ground. This is my argument in reserve for all cases ... When I am condemned, and condemn myself utterly, I think straightway, “But I rely on my love for some things.” Therein I am whole and entire.” - Thoreau

Good that she cared that no one was watching, how nice would be to find such a solitary stream or spring nowadays to bathe in freely.
Kudos for a gorgeous poem!

Plz also read and comment my newest poem too.

Oh, I thought you were giving me away. : )
Seriously, nice poem to start the day and the scene is as beautiful as the nature that has created it.
