Titanic

A Poem by Pete

Titanic': Power Ranking the 25 Best Things About James Cameron's Film - The Ringer

as an enterprising, disrobing tide rolls in
twirling
dancing
joyously and boldly prancing

memories of your touch curtsey and bow
as tender lips declare and taut hugs avow
raising more than an innocent eyebrow
no need to ask how

introducing majestic hills to the sky
both desire and fate nimble and spry
eternity will never die
no need to ask why

hearts aflutter and passion manic
no silent fear or utter panic
calmly setting sail with two tickets
traversing the deep, robust sea of atlas' atlantic
aboard the newly christened, myopic titanic

I absolutely love your analogy to the movie, Pete! The fascination of this tragedy will never die. Thank you for such a riveting read. Celine's voice is magic. You know I just had to listen!

Have never seen the Titanic used as a metaphor for a relationship. I guess the lesson is that when you feel ongoing coolness from the other, the icebergs can't be far behind.
