French Toast

A Poem by Pete

File:Red-high-heels-and-fishnet-stockings.jpg - Craig Larman
in spamming fishnets with curious beret askew
cheroot dangling from brimming, shallacked lips
stained nails merely scratching the surface
heavy, mascaraed eyes of mystery and obscurity
leather skirt hiked up so high you need oxygen
barely able to walk on twin, elevator-less, highrises of glowing, nuclear red, stiletto heels
she held her sugared, sipped coffee cup with dogmatic, lotioned hands
trollop, strumpet, tart
seemingly playing the part
speaking an intriguing, seductive, forgotten dialect of french
some who didn't know any better calling her a wench

I love it! She sounds like a doozey of a floozy and a cutie of a patootie. (laughing) This was so much fun to read out loud. Thanks for the big smile this put on my face. I kept hearing The Knack and the song "Frustrated" in the background as I was reading. ;)

This so clever and great images... a very sexy broad, goggled at by many a man....But it how one justness beauty? is it sexy, intellectual, plain Jane? each to his own on this one....It's a great read, just pops along and I like your choice of words...perfect descriptions.... you could hear the click of the high heel shoes... and see the textured stockings.... the rest is all in one's mind....

I find this write really interesting, because you can see this from multiple angles.....
like you could see this woman, and many do....
maybe they are just jealous of this woman,
or maybe she is just an attention seeker,
maybe both are true?

I also find this interesting as a product of French immigrants.

i think i started out with the idea that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover ... :)
Apart from man being suckers for beauty it's the flirting that reels them in and women can really turn up the charm, they also can be very cutting with words. Great write Pete. I can hearher whispers in my ear from here lol Danger Will Robinson! Danger Danger Ahead!

I think that is one of the reasons you moved from the big city to the country side: they were coming at you in droves.
A fun read with good rhyming.
