Between Floors

Between Floors

A Poem by Pete

What Should You Do if You Get Stuck in an Elevator?

me in my white, button down dress shirt and silk, chromatic tie
you with your towering, high heels and tight, hiked-up skirt
a good job is never done
how come there's never a paper clip around when you need one

i never really knew what elevator, stop buttons were for
until that unforgettable, torrid day when we went through 'the smith file'
behind a pair of tarnished, steel doors

between the second and third floors

A seductive and romantic poem penned in such an innocent manner. Leaves much to the imagination as it should! Nicely done!

Oh my!! This made me think of that elevator scene in "Fatal Attraction". Damn, I love the passion you exude here...ever so methodically!

Oo la la la This little poem doesn’t leave much to the imagination Pete. Straight out of a movie and red hot:) Torrid is a good word to describe what took place
