both there and not
in the creaking, cobwebbed recesses of my sometimes mind
an intangible renaissance of reason never quite coming to light
an unreachable holy grail
a stained glass prism of logic

there you are
an idea and a concept hiding beneath the covers of a patchwork quilt
oblivious to remorse or guilt
known but not a fact
tending to add rather than subtract
elusive, evasive and abstract
