Excuse Me, Would You Have Any Spare "Change"?

A Poem by Pete
"

Nay, be a Columbus to whole new continents and worlds within you, opening new channels, not of trade, but of thought. - Thoreau

Business Man with Empty Pockets, Stock Video - Envato Elements

loose change jingling in empty pockets and vacuous heads
i can't help but laugh
these people who are always dyeing their hair
they never change their minds
let alone their underwear

Author's Note

Pete
If you can't change it, change your attitude. To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often. Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. - Thoreau
