Blues Boogie JamA Poem by PeteIf you will not try, you will go to your grave with your song still inside you. - Thoreaucooler and more sinuate than an artic winter smoother than caressive, chinese silk fluent as a well-oiled chain on a blue sprocketunearthly, undulating groove like an orbiting rocket the room as dark as a winter's night is long proceeding to lay down a never ending song so bad it's good like livin', breathin' music should implied greeting of, "hey man" in walked the band hypnotizin' sterilizin' realizin' organ grindin' fingers findin' pickin' and strummin' another member of the posse keepin' time drummin' harmonicaed breath wailin' signed, sealed, stamped and ready for mailin' ivory keys unlockin' murderous beat stalkin' saxaphone sprayin' just sayin' bass so low you needed a ladder to conceive no need for faith 'cuz you have no choice but to believe the whole armada sailin' takin' everyone to school and not failin' stridin', not walkin' lettin' the music do the talkin' religiously keepin' a silicone beat on a crowded, one-way, mellifluous street openin' my soul like a can of spam helpin' me to be much more than i am god damn takin' it all on down with a killer blues boogie jam © 2023 PeteAuthor's Note
