long ago in restless youth

now in presumptuous, sedate maturity

disturbing nature's sanctity and purity

writing myself into the annals of snow

urine my ink

never quite enough to cross all the "tease" and dot all the "eyes" that wink

regardless of what others may know or think

Oh boy do i relate to your authors notes!!!
I write when i feel this urgent pull to sit down and write.. Never have any idea what will pour out of me and onto the paper...I wrote a poem Thoughts...
Not a complicated message..
Anyway, I did enjoy this read .. my first of yours..

A brief poem full of honest meaning, and yeah, what others think? Screw 'em, most likely they are only thinking of themselves, but jealous nevertheless 'cuz they can't rub two words or more together that have any meaning. (Just a suggestion, drink more water next time :-)

And you write marvelously. Sometimes our writings feel like frozen, stuck in seasons and waiting for releases. Sometimes they burn holes in our hearts to get them out. Our writes come alive in due times and under certain inspirations.

Inner battles or growth are just that...no-one truly knows what another is facing or realising, coping with etc...there is always something to reflect on deeply in your writing Pete :)
