there is a legend that thoreau refused to pay $5 for his harvard diploma ("just a piece of paper" he purportedly said). we spend our lives accumulating things that we think we need. we come into the world with nothing and go out the same way. tv commercials can be so persuasive. thanks for stopping in fran. now where's that credit card ... :)
