I don't know about you, Pete, but there are few things in this world that're as satisfying as laying out a m**********r that'd been asking for it, or that'd had it coming.

Sometimes, a little karmatic slap reminds us of what it means to be out of line, of where the lines were to begin with, or what happens when we transgress them.

Interesting write, in that regard, and I think I can understand where the axis mundi image fits alongside that line of thinking.

I don't imagine, Pete, I remember...In grade school the nuns hit us with rulers....sore knuckles...and at Joliet Catholic the Carmelite priests were allowed to hit us....they usually used thick belts and told us to touch our toes.

such people don't get it. they are blind to their own wrongdoings and when it comes upon them they don't understand. sin is a dangerous street to try and navigate. we all need a "good" gps ... :)
