7 Karma Myths

payback and karma were walking down the street
people whispered, pointed and called them b*****s
following not far behind were their twin, b*****d brothers
owed and woed
all of them destiny's children
born of the same barren womb
spoiled, rotten fruit of a broken loom
living in the same desolate room
cared for by their nanny comeuppance

in a budding brood of empty abundance

Author's Note

Pete
"It is a momentous fact that a man may be good, or he may be bad; his life may be true, or it may be false; it may be either a shame or a glory to him. The good man builds himself up; the bad man destroys himself." - Thoreau

I don't know about you, Pete, but there are few things in this world that're as satisfying as laying out a m**********r that'd been asking for it, or that'd had it coming.

Sometimes, a little karmatic slap reminds us of what it means to be out of line, of where the lines were to begin with, or what happens when we transgress them.

Interesting write, in that regard, and I think I can understand where the axis mundi image fits alongside that line of thinking.

An incredibly strong write Pete. Really like what you have said here in so few lines. Love the line "cared for by their nanny comeuppance" In an ideal world........ sadly we do not live in one.
