“The stars are the apexes of what wonderful triangles! What distant and different beings in the various mansions of the universe are contemplating the same one at the same moment! Nature and human life are as various as our several constitutions. Who shall say what prospect life offers to another? Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?” - Thoreau

I love this! It's quick, short rhymes painting little snippets of the sky. I'm not sure what it meant to you, but I'll take a little personal meaning from it for myself and keep it in my pocket. As unique as a painting, the viewers, themselves retain a unique meaning. Love it!

This is the most original thing I've ever seen written about the night sky & people write about that all the time! This is zinging with fresh word-crafting thru-out: "the ethereal, stipple sky . . . slick but never sly" (great rhyming thru-out, as well!) . . . "spreads its pergola parasol . . . over both you and me" -- sheer brilliance! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I love reading, writing, music, nature, God and feeling emotion, not necessarily in that order. To me, these things go hand in hand. My favorite writer is Henry David Thoreau. I think he was a geni.. more..
