Hell itself may be contained within the compass of a spark. - Thoreau

Down in a Hole
Down in a Hole - Wojciech Grzanka

you ran and pushed me down in the school yard
hard
from behind
when i wasn't looking

i chipped a tooth
you broke a piece of my porcelain youth

no one will ever know the truth

life isn't a game
it's something to be lived, loved and mastered

you sick, heinous, loathsome, repugnant b*****d

Author's Note

Pete
"It is a momentous fact that a man may be good, or he may be bad; his life may be true, or it may be false; it may be either a shame or a glory to him. The good man builds himself up; the bad man destroys himself. But whatever we do we must do confidently (if we are timid, let us, then, act timidly), not expecting more light, but having light enough. If we confidently expect more, then let us wait for it." - Thoreau

Everyone who does wrong faces the consequences. Maybe not by law, but by action. Cruelty is to bargain with greater cruelties than your own. He likely faced it himself. Reality isn't kind; but it is fair.

Try not to focus on things beyond you're control, or you'll lose sight of the most import things right in front of you. Even a hiker can trip if he doesn't mind the road ahead. That road deserves the respect of those who are fortunate enough to have somewhere to put their feet. And there is still the chance of finding something better. Rather than being overcome by the past. Maybe I'm crazy, but it helps me to think like this. Gets me through the day. You're not alone. I think you're a great poet, and also a good person.

Yeah, I know those type of folk, sadly, would sooner kick when down than help a hand and don't know justice or right and wrong, not like they even face the opponent when they do such., cowardly and no honour...

and it can start so young. thanks ruth ... :)
If you ever should run into the guy on the street, please don't shoot him. I don't think you've got grounds here to get the charge reduced to manslaughter.
