no umbrella

memories and feelings speeding
not enough track

dark alleys
one way streets
truths and denials meet

flesh overtakes reason
no room for others

We can get lost in those dark, confined spaces. And, we can find the truth there, alone, nothing to interfere in that ephemeral role. And, the ideal Thoreau quote! Love the brevity and message in this one.
