Golden Shower

Golden Shower

A Poem by Pete
"

The indescribable innocence of and beneficence of Nature,-of sun and wind and rain, of summer and winter,-such health, such cheer, they afford forever! - Thoreau

"
golden Rain" photos, royalty-free images, graphics, vectors ...

thank god
rain washes
terse tears
and
fools-golden urine
from these
infectious
nazi
city streets

"A single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener. So our prospects brighten on the influx of better thoughts. We should be blessed if we lived in the present always, and took advantage of every accident that befell us." - Thoreau

WOW! This is very powerful. I love an intense statement made with equanimity, rather than a rant. There's something about the understated approach that can pump a message big time & you've done it here. "Infection nazi streets" is one of the most intensely powerful ways of describing our current strife that I've seen, yet void of judgment, comparisons, preferences. I love your implication that, despite how crazy full-of-strife America may seem at times, it's amazing how the rain washes off all that piss that people tend to spray around, marking their fire hydrants (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
