Thick Gourds

A Poem by Pete
"

As naturally as the oak bears an acorn and the vine a gourd, man bears a poem, either spoken or done. - Thoreau

i barely know my own brother

we're but two seeds

spit out in different directions

WOW! This was unexpected! Being from a horribly fractured family myself, I can relate. It reminds me of how a bird eats a seed & s***s it out miles away, growing a tree that's related but so different becuz of how the nurturing played out or didn't. I am completely delighted to see you doing these short blasts of tang, even tho I also love your longer complex tangles (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
