Whirlwind

A Poem by Pete
"

The morning wind forever blows, the poem of creation is uninterrupted; but few are the ears to hear it. - Thoreau

Like a gentle breeze.
I aim to please.
To ease and cool.
Unlocking life without keys.
Going wherever a sweet caress needs.

Like a strong wind.
I want to be heard and felt.
Not seen.
Today's reality.
Persuading tonight's dream.

Like an unrelenting gale.
I want to prevail.
Here and there.
Controlling like Aphrodite.
Searching for her nightie.
High and mighty.

Like a vicious tornado.
I want to tie you up in a knot.
Twisting truth.
Inflicting a heartfelt bloodclot.
Determining fate's swirling plot ...

“The strongest wind cannot stagger a Spirit; it is a Spirit’s breath. A just man’s purpose cannot be split on any Grampus or material rock, but itself will split rocks till it succeeds.” - Thoreau
