Tunnel Vision

Tunnel Vision

A Poem by Pete
"

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake. - Thoreau

"

I've watched hungry lions lie down.
Seen Goliath slain.
Through reality's mist and miracles renown.
If only in the dreams of my faith.

Like a black and white, talking, picture show.
From the balcony at Jericho.
Make no mistake about it though,
when it came time to cross my life's Red Sea ...
... the ticket wasn't free ...

Keep the faith, Pete. The enormity of your words will long echo these halls.

thanks kelly. think spring! ... :)
The accompanying picture seems to combine Cecil B. DeMille and a near death experience. Indeed, all our lives have their Red Seas. If you keep the faith, though, you won't end up like the Egyptians did.
