Read the best books first, or you may not have a chance to read them at all. - Thoreau

Take my hand.
Marry my soul.
Before I grow too old.
So my heart doesn't turn cold.
I want you not just as a lover but as a friend.
To you and only you will I reveal my true self.
Like that worn, dusty book marked and sitting ...
... upon your top shelf ...
