Just for Once

Just for Once

A Poem by Pete
"

Who you are speaks so loudly I can't hear what you're saying. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Image result for the scream

I want to scream.
Beyond the limits of reality.
So loud that no ear can hear.
So loud that God has to listen.
So loud that it tips earth's axis.
Louder than a crooked gavel's smack.
In my favor.
Just for once ...

"The very uprightness of the pines and maples asserts the ancient rectitude and vigor of nature. Our lives need the relief of such a background, where the pine flourishes and the jay still screams." - Thoreau
